Cabri G2

Since 2015 Cabri G2 has become the top selling 2-seater helicopter in the world. Its fleet of 150 helicopters has a record of more than 100 000 flight hours and has proven the highest safety record of Cabri G2. Young polish helicopter army pilots in Dęblin step into flying in Guimbal helicopters.

  • Cabri G2 is the first in its class to be certified under specification CS-27, so far dedicated to a lot larger and heavier machines.
  • Very good autorotation properties make it one of the safest helicopters in the world.
  • Composite structure and energy absorbing seats secure surveillance of hard landings with the speed of even 2000 ft/min.
  • Fuel bladder design based on military and F1 technology provides safety in the most extreme situations
  • Automatic carburetor heat eliminates the risk of one of the most fatal causes of accidents in competitive helicopters.
Modern technology
  • Powered with a reliable Lycoming piston engine equipped with electronic ignition and digital engine governor with a nominal power of 180 shp limited to 145 shp. The engine is located high in the airframe to facilitate comfortable access for routine inspections.
  • Equiped with modern electronic monitoring system with LCD screen indicating primary helicopter flight parameters.
  • Fully articulated, maintenance free rotor head is a technical masterpiece. It provides a unique manoeuvrability and stability. It also enables operation in wind and turbulance conditions reserved before only for larger turbine aircraft. Cabri rotor blades have a very high inertia and thanks to the use of the most sophisticated turbine and composite technologies they have only a life limit.
  • Guimbal engineers decided to use a fenestron type tail rotor which limits noise level while improving efficiency, manoeuvrability and safety.
  • Composite airframe combines lightweight, precision and durability.
  • Possibility to equip with Aspen or various Garmin avionics to provide IFR training.
Thanks to its spacious cabine, low operational costs as well as a large LCD screening main engine parameters Cabri G2 fits perfect for initial pilot training. It is suits equally well for tourism and disposal flights. Guimbal helicopter is successfully used for pilot training in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Record breaker
Cabri G2 is also a world record holder. In the sub-500 kg helicopter class it set three world records: altitude without a payload 6,658 m, time to climb to a height of 3000 m and 6000 m.

  • Max range 700 KM
  • Speed 185 KM/H
  • Seating capacity 2
  • Useful load 420 KG
  • Fuel consumption 38 l/H
  • Max load 280 KG
